The film’s overseas has propelled its global box office total to an impressive $438.7 million, with the half a billion mark looming on the horizon.

Wednesday saw the addition of Italy to the Inside Out 2 lineup, and the country did not disappoint. Following Italy’s lead, France and Spain also welcomed Inside Out 2 with open arms. France, in particular, scored the 3rd biggest Pixar opening day of all time and the largest overall opening day of the year with a $4 million take. The film’s reception in France was 171% above that of Inside Out, solidifying its position as a fan favorite. Meanwhile, Spain also contributed to the film’s success by claiming the title of the biggest opening day for an animated film and the best post-Covid with $3.3 million.
